Welcome to the HKU ENT Masterclass 2026 - INSIDE OUT: Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery & Rhinoplasty, which will take place on 7-9 May 2026.

This year we extend our Masterclass into a 3-day course. We have cadaveric workshops on Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery and Rhinoplasty respectively, followed by a Saturday Symposium with the highlight of Wong Hau Yuen Visiting Professorship Lecture. We are extremely honoured to have two world renowned honourable speakers:  Professor Yong-Ju Jang from Korea to be our orator of Wong Hau Yuen Visiting Professorship on Rhinoplasty and Professor Prepageran Narayanan from Malaysia on Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery.

With our prestige programme, you will engage in hands-on workshops and interactive discussions with all our invited international and local faculties to explore the latest developments and techniques in the field of Rhinology, Rhinoplasty and Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery.

This year's 3-day Masterclass will convene a distinguished group of local and international experts to delve into modern advancements and future prospects in endoscopic skull base surgery and rhinoplasty. The agenda includes a 2-day dissection workshop focusing on endoscopic skull base surgery and rhinoplasty, tailored to enhance participants' anatomical comprehension and surgical skills, followed by a full day of lectures providing comprehensive updates in the field.

We are honoured to host our honourable faculty Professor Prepageran Narayanan and Professor Yong-Ju Jang. Their  wealth of experience and forward-looking perspective are poised to offer thought-provoking insights into the various aspects in endoscopic skull base surgery and rhinoplasty.

This year’s 3-day Masterclass brings together an exceptional faculty of local and international experts to explore contemporary advances and future directions in endoscopic skull base surgery and rhinoplasty. We are especially honoured to feature the Wong Hai Yuen Visiting Professorship once again. This year, we are privileged to have Professor Yong-Ju Jang, who will deliver the keynote lecture, “Shaping the Future: My 30 Years Voyage in Rhinoplasty.”

His experience and vision promise to provide inspiring insights into the evolution of rhinoplasty.

Let me first congratulate you for being part of the wonderful HKU ENT Masterclass 2026, titled "Inside & Out: Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery & Rhinoplasty." This year, we have unified the crucial components of nasal care, enhancing both internal and external approaches to improve patient outcomes.

​

Our program begins with a 2-day hands-on practical dissection workshop, led by world-renowned experts within our faculty. The first day will focus on endoscopic sinus and skull base surgery, followed by rhinoplasty on the second day. Participants will enjoy close supervision with a low ratio of dissectors to supervisors.

​

The sinus surgery dissection will cover basic full house endoscopic sinus surgery techniques to advanced frontal sinus drill-outs, approaches to the infratemporal fossa and transclival approach to Merkel's Cave.

​

In contrast, the rhinoplasty dissection will integrate comprehensive functional techniques—such as spreader grafts and baton grafts—with advanced cosmetic techniques including dorsum augmentation, tip refining techniques, and alar base reduction surgeries.

​

The final day features a jam-packed scientific program aimed at discussing advancements in rhinology, including sinus surgery and rhinoplasty, while addressing both challenges and the latest updates in the field.

We are particularly proud to have Professor Yong Ju Jang from ASAN Medical, Seoul, Korea, with us this year. It is my utmost honor to have been one of his many fellows, and we are privileged to have him as this year's Wong Hau Yuen Visiting Professorship lecturer. His vast experience in rhinoplasty will undoubtedly impart great wisdom through his distinguished lecture.
