Biography

Dr. Calvin Lai is a dedicated otorhinolaryngologist specializing in rhinology and skull base surgery. He graduated from The University of Hong Kong and completed his specialist training at Prince of Wales Hospital, earning his Fellowship of the Hong Kong College of Otorhinolaryngology in 2018. He further advanced his expertise through rhinology oversea training at the University of Adelaide in Australia.

Dr. Lai is currently Associate Consultant in the Department of Ear, Nose and Throat at Prince of Wales Hospital and as Clinical Assistant Professor (honorary) in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is deeply committed to surgical education as an instructor in sinus dissection courses both locally and internationally. He also directs Hong Kong’s first 3D-printed frontal sinus dissection course.

Dr. Lai’s research focuses on recurrent nasopharyngeal carcinoma, chronic rhinosinusitis, biologics in the local population, and olfaction and taste.
