Biography

Dr. Winnie Kan is a 2003 graduate of CUHK Medicine and a Fellow of Otorhinolaryngology at the Hong Kong College of Otorhinolaryngologists and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. She is Consultant Otorhinolaryngologist at Gleneagles Hospital. She serves as Clinical Assistant Professor (honorary) in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at The Chinese University of Hong Kong; and as Honorary Clinical Tutor in the Department of Surgery at The University of Hong Kong.


Since 2016, Dr. Kan has special interest in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. She passed the International Board Certification of Facial Plastic Reconstruction Surgery Examination in 2018 with the highest international score, earning Hong Kong’s first Claus D. Walter Award for this achievement. In 2025 she obtained European Board Certification in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. She devotes her attention to functional nasal reconstruction, aiming to ensure a breathing nose with high physiological and structural integrity.
