Biography

Dr. Winnie Kan is a 2003 graduate of Faculty of Medicine at The Chinese University of Hong Kong and a Fellow of the Hong Kong College of Otorhinolaryngologists and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. She is currently Consultant Otorhinolaryngologist at Gleneagles Hospital, and holds academic appointments as Clinical Assistant Professor (Honorary) at The Chinese University of Hong Kong and Honorary Clinical Tutor at The University of Hong Kong.

Since 2016, Dr. Kan has sub-specialized in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. In 2018, she achieved the highest international score in the International Board Certification in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Examination, becoming the first recipient in Hong Kong of the prestigious Claus D. Walter Award for this accomplishment. She also obtained the European Board Certification in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in 2025.

Dr. Kan has a special clinical interest in functional nasal reconstruction, aiming to ensure a breathing nose with high physiological and structural integrity.
